Anything sent/rec'd through BBM relies entirely on data. Besides your data charges, there are no additional fees for sending pics, vids or other media. Hope this helps.

Thank you, that is good to know, since if i send pictures or other forms of media by MMS it costs $0.50 per message, but it costs nothing to email them (just data) and now it seems BBM is just data too..

like to know why the count messaging as a separate charge, it's all data.. you get so much data from Bell / Rogers for your internet.. and it doesn't matter what you do with that allotment, only if you go over do you incur extra charges.. should be the same for Smart phones..

Just make sure you don't accidently send it via text cause Bell charges $0.50 for each one.
