And I'm enjoying it heavily so far. It's fulfilling everything I've needed in a smartphone and for me it's a great trade for my old Android G1. The Bold is a true upgrade. True, my G1 was old, but after having the BB and it doing what I need, I don't see myself going back. Guess I'll soon be a Crackberry Addict?

Anyhew, couldn't find the thread for former Andoid users who now love BB. Help?

I tried the G2 for a week as well as the Samsung Galaxy. Finally happy to be back with my 9780. Like I told my friends the other night. Android phones are fun. That's about it. Terrible for serious business use.

Welcome! Droids are inferior to the iPhone for a large screen touchscreen experience.
Blackberry rules for serious communicating. All depends on your needs

Droids might catch up some day. I am using an iPhone 4 now until Att gets 9780. It is cool but not nearly as productive
As my old 9700. Incredible screen though.

ooooo, so envious that you were able to get a 9780! I'm so waiting to get my red one!!!

You will see that if you're looking for seamless, effortless communication the Blackberry is perfect!!! And you won't have to count how many hours you have left on your battery two hours after you've unplugged it!

I may buy an iPhone in the future, but an Android device is nowhere in my plans....

same here, this is my first, had an iphone previously.... love the security features that come with blackberry add to it the look of a phone rather than a gaming device.

Nice! Congrats! The 9780 is the best BlackBerry device hands down! Followed by the legendary 9700, then the 9800, and then the 9000, ended with the 9300 which is also a decent entry level phone

Definitely an experience. Take it all in. As time goes on learn more and really make your device run intuitively to your needs and likings. Once you go black....
