Might as well load one more leak on the old 8520! Give it a try and report back on your results. Remember to delete the vendor XML and if you havent done this before, read the BB 101!

Well, doesnt work for me ...

Tried upgrading to it about 5 times this morning, and frankly I'm bored of it now working for me now, so sod it! :-D

    I'm using v5.0.0.681 currently, and was looking forward to the upgrade but I cannot upgrade to it using any of the following;

    DM6
    BBSAK
    Loader

None of these work - loader bombs out on me and says USB isnt connected - DM6 hits me with an error and BBSAK says there is no OS installed.

Rubbish (like Katy Perrys music, happens to be on the radio now ... she should be seen and NOT heard!) ...

If it is not working, you're not doing something right. Uninstall everything, reboot the pc and start from scratch.

The charging bolt is now animated. The preview pictures are now much clearer, still not as much as Fit to Screen, but MUCH clearer.

So far, that's all I could notice.

I concur with Diego. Bolt is cool, nothing major yet, but this seems more of a "under the hood" update. Give it a shot.

Just installed it, working fine for me so far. No changes that I can see.

Sooooo ... I finally got it on there, and to be honest I dont really 'see' any changes other than the battery charge indictor (mentioned previously!).

The only other thing I have noticed is that my battery life is so much better now, seems to last for ages! :-D good news!

Working for me as usual, not noticed any changes from .900. Battery charges fine when plugged in just doesn't say it is on the battery status icon.

    Edit:

Battery life is higher than usual for this time of day, and I've been using it a lot including a few restarts (turns out it's not my phone causing issues with FB after all).

    NO!!!!!!!!

You can only put an OS for your device on your device. Doing otherwise will put your Berry in "Bricked mode".
