I think 9700 is a better looking devise. 9780 is all black which makes it dull and unattractive. What do you guys think?..............Please comment.

I, most probably won’t be buying 9780 until it comes in some other color....like with graphite grey bezel etc.

I like the 9780 better, only because Ive had the 9700 for a good while. I would probably say the same if it were reversed. It's just easier to purchase something new if it looks different, even slightly.

i hate the chrome bezel on the 9700, it makes it look cheap and tacky like the original storm.

The black 9780 looks extremely sleek in my eyes. I already picked one yesterday from T-Mobile and its awesome. I may pick another white one to satisfy my color obsession hehe

I have to agree with the others. After using the 9780 for weeks now, I find my 9700 looking kinda cheap in comparison. The blacked out 9780 looks like serious hardware!

And for another member here, RED would be great for her!

I prefer the black bezel. The chrome bezel wears after a while and does not look as good.

I dont know guys.....I am gonna wait for awhile and see if it is being released in any other color...or when the full range of accessories is available.

I do want to upgrade to 9780 from 9700, but not because the specs are great. They aren�t. Just want to �posses� the newest devise

IMO chrome looks really cheap.. like those 1995 honda civics with the chrome hubcaps lol, I like the 9780 better than 9700 but this is my first BB, if I had a 9700 I wouldn't buy the 9700 since the changed features are not a wow factor for upgrading users.

Ok I now have the 9780 and the winner is the 9700. I like the inners better on the 9780 and the cometics on the 9700. I guess its gonna b all about the insside.
