I ordered from sprint online and it wasn't until I received it that we found out it was purple, no where in any of my confirmation emails did it say purple. But the wife likes the purple once it was in hand, she didn't like it from the pictures. So we dodged a bullet and my wife has a girlyberry.

Yes, the stores will not be carrying the Royal Purple 9670 until after the 20th (supposedly). If you want the purple your best bet is to login online and order it from The BlackBerry Style smartphone – Only from Sprint

I just stopped at my local Sprint store and ordered myself the Royal Purple...will be in for me to pick up tomorrow afternoon. In fact, I was the first one to buy the Style at the store!

I ordered my purple Style from sprint.com on November 1 and received it the next day. There was a problem with the trackpad on that unit so I called them that day -- they shipped a replacement device that evening and I had it on Wednesday. Super happy with the phone and with Sprint's shipping and customer service for this upgrade.
