    My SMS icon was different than my e-mail icon when displaying how many unread messages I had and now it suddenly changed back to the old icon. Wondering how I can change it back so I can tell the difference between sms and e-mails. Anyone know how?!

    open up your messages app (the big one that aggregates ALL messages), menu button -> options -> inbox settings -> uncheck SMS And MMS.

    That should do it. I had issue with that for the longest time.
