About a month ago I purchased my first Verizon smartphone from Ebay. An 8330. I love it! I have an sd card in it. I still have 32,715,123 bytes available. I do notice I get the hourglass quite a bit when searching the web, but I eventually get what I need. I like that the camera has a flash. I picked the 8330 over the 8530 because of the flash vs getting wifi. But I am wondering if I should have gotten the 8530 instead since it has OS 5.0, a faster processor and wifi.
Is the OS 5.0, faster processor and wifi really a huge upgrade?
How do the 2 cameras compare?
Has anybody had the 8330 and now have the 8530?
Well, the wifi is a huge plus of course. If you're at a coffee shop that has wifi, disable your CDMA connection and just use the wifi. It's fast and stable enough to stream YouTube vids!
The still camera's kinda mediocre, though I think the color saturation is better. The video camera is much better though. The colors are brighter and videos play full screen and not in a postage stamp like on the 8330.
You should get 8530 its really sweet and cute. My big brother who has a Black Berry Storm 2 is jealous of my BB8530 wifi is amazing, works wherever you go. Having a flash is not even all that important when it comes to this phone. It takes really good pics.
