Just bought it used, today and activated it with verizon. Phone and text works fine. i try to set up email and it said it cannot connect to server. theres also no web browser and no apps loader. it says 1XEV next to the signal bars. i just had a 8530 on 3g service and it worked fine until i dropped it in water haha. i try wiping the phone and to downgrade to 4.7 OS to see if it would affect it but nothin would. help please

Try this: Options --> Advance Options --> Host Routing Table --> Press menu and choose Register Now.

ok so i went to options-advanced options-host routing table- then a list with shows up beginning with

verizon[240]
verizon[690340]
verizon[620c40]
verizon[60e140]
etc...

i click on verizon[240] then

host routing information
name:verizon
NPC:0x240
ART:0x10
IP/Ports:206.51.26.162:17771:17770

i dont know to much about it

From where you see that list, hit menu and then hit register now.

i see the list when i go to options<advanced options<host routing table, after i click on host routing table a whole list of verizon and numbers show up... i already activated the phone with verizon.

Works- phone, text, camera,

Doesnt work- no mail, no 3g, no internet browser, wen i click on the app loader it says check the service administrator......., cant download apps.

i went to verizon and they said they wont help me because they think it was previously flashed... wth

Try Sending The Service Books, If That Dosen't Seem To Work, Dial *228 And Click On Option 1. Once It Says Your Phone Has Been Successfully Updated, Perform A Battery Pull.
