My sons phone broke so I wiped my old BB 8530 and activated it on his line. The phone is still getting my emails pushed to it, is there a way to remove my email from the phone so he doesn't get them anymore?

You need to remove that email account from your carriers BIS site, or it will continue pushing those emails to that phone.

Go into the "Email Settings" app icon. Usually in your "Setup" folder. There you can delete the associated email accounts, and make new ones if you want.

Got it, thanks guys! Also, I used to have the option to use the left convenience button for a keyboard locker before I updated. Does anyone remember which OS version that was so I go back to it?
