so I tried updating my old phone 8900 to the os5 as my boyfriends mum is using the phone and now it is stuck on the loading screen, it gets a certain way and freezes.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice? ps i'm using a mac
I am an ex 8900 owner (now have torch) but I did install OS5 on my curve. The best tool to get is BBSAK (available in the internet). You need to use this to wipe your device and reset to factory settings. Then use desktop manager to install your downloaded OS. Then restore your files.
remember to backup your device with desktop manager and BBSAK first.
