BBM 5.0.1.41 - It's included in the .280 leak - but who wants to download the entire OS just for a couple decimal points?
Only the english version is included, I couldn't fit the rest into the upload limit.

Here's the thing though: for some reason I can't get a zip file full of cods to upload. So the cods are in a .7z file (which can be unzipped with 7zip) inside a .zip file. Sorry for the trouble guys, but that's the only way I could get it to upload... weird.

It came preloaded on the .280 OS. BBM came right up for me.

i have also tried today on my torch 9800. same message that it is incompatible was displayed. What may be reason?

How Do I Install

To anyone that downloaded and got the error message that it is incompatible, do NOT use desktop manager. I created a JAD file that will force load it onto the device and included the install.bat, bbm.jad and loader.exe files only. I just installed it and it works fine on the 9800.

Here it is.

The files in my ZIP file must be copied into the same folder as where you unpacked the cod files from the OPs 7z archive.

No problem at all. I try not to use the BBDTM as much as possible. I just like using loader, seems simpler to me. Thanks a bunch for the initial upload. Looks rather nice and like I mentioned, keeping the custom status messages is a bleeding bonus....

I took the original un-zipped files and slapped all the CODs into my java folder for the 9700 5.0.0.979 I loaded up this morning. I thru the alx in the main folder, apploader showed the correct version number of BBM before it did its thing, but after my OS install I didn't have any version of BBM on my phone...

Is this version perhaps not compatible with OS 5 ?

Doesn't work for me on my 9700, BBM dissapear after update and have to restore 5.0.1.38 with appworld. Be careful

Hmmm... thats the same thing mine did. I'm glad its not only me, but I wonder whats different about this version? Maybe RIM is blocking it at their end, like with the Beta versions without a key?...
