I had been jumping from OS to OS on my 9700, right now im on 5.0.0.602 from at&t oficial release, my phone its from at&t.

i love the battery life on this OS, but it feel choppy from time to time,

besides when you change application it always appears the At&t Visual Voicemail and the Enhanced Gmail Plug-in. (i dont like this to be there all the time.)

Would you please share your current or favorite OS impressions for your 9700? (speed, battery stamina, signal issues, etc)

    Thanks!

    .714 T-Mobile

Came stock on my phone and I've had no reason or desire to change it since. I get great signal strength and battery life out of it (3-5 days depending on use).

I've been on .862 since the first official release of it. I find it slightly better than .602 from AT&T (I'm on AT&T myself). Slight battery improvement, more stable.... and, (This may have more to do with updating BB app world and turning off encryption and memory compression), but, I'm booting at about 3 minutes after a battery pull instead of 5 to 6 minutes.

Some people complain about the radio on .862 not giving them as many bars as other builds. I think it's more accurate. There were places that I would have crappy reception, but get 3 or 4 bars on .405/.602. I still get crappy reception in those areas, but .862 reports only 1 bar in those spots.

Let me go ahead and speak for "ML" ...... get .714, it will solve all your problems, and give you bigger erections! Wait try .560, no. 862 is the best, no, no, only use .602... No .714 is THA BOMB!!!!

Leaked 938 has been great for me, 862 also worked very well. Both seem to have great battery life, strong RF, and snappy browser/data speeds.

it you want to stay with an official release I thought .862 was the best. I'm on leaked .938 right now with no issues and I find it to be about the same speed and battery wise as .938.

definitely get off .602 from att. its garbage.

i'm on att also for what its worth

Had problems with .938. Had reception issues and the dial from homescreen bug. Went back to .862 and couldn't be happier. There must be a reason that .938 hasn't been made official by now.

938 on Vodafone - found it very good, battery life seems to have improved. Found my signal has been jumping around a lot more, but after research, believe that's more to do with Vodafone doing work.

What exactly is the bug? I just dialed from my homescreen without issue. I just want to see if what I am used to is actually a bug.

I'm running .862 since leaked and I love it. I came from .746 I think and that one was garbage, battery was horrible, but .862 i can go 2 days without a charge and have 1 bar left still. I D/L .938 but haven't installed it yet, haven't seen anything negative about .862 and nothing great said about .938 so I'll stay on the same til someone tells me anything better.

For me, it was OS 5.0.0.770 and Now OS 5.0.0.862

Both are smooth with no bugs and the battery's life is not bad at all. No issues whatsoever with the .862's signal strength. ML had stated that the .862 have had signal issues, but I did not come across any so far.

I'm sticking with the .862 til OS 6 is released
