Since they branded it Tablet OS it doesn't sound too promising for a Storm type device.

I am really pleased with how they are doing its Web connectivity

Connect to your BB through BT for 3G access,
BUT you get Wifi. Looks like you only will get BBM through your device so a single PIN to manage, I was wondering how they would do the multi pin world if they gave the device 3G and a PIN

Please just let them come out with a touchscreen handset worth of pairing with this tablet and I will begin to believe in RIM again .... App building for this tablet should be pretty easy for developers ...

    Looking good RIM!

    That is pure marketing

Marketing puts all kinds of spins on things, we don't know when the Strom 3 will launch, nor when this will launch so it is really hard to say!

WHAT we really need to hope is they do the Storm 3 as a 3.7" Playbook! with a PIN and 3G that would be killer

Thats sad though. I was hoping they could bring this on Future blackberries. The best part is Flash is supported in the OS and it has the horse power to run it also 1Ghz dual core with 1 GB ram. I Like the 7 " size also than the 10". Hope we get more videos.

I gotta give it to RIM. This device looks like it has serious potential. Since my wife took my iPad from me, I've been thinking about what to get for a replacement. If this comes out in the near future, I will definitely check it out.

    I would say NO

it says to get PUSH access you would need to tether it via BT to your Blackberry. so for BIS services you will need to have it connected to your Blackberry so NO BBM on it's own'

I personally think that is a great idea. I was wondering how they would manage multiple PIN's with BBM, would I have to add everyone a second or 3rd time in BBM, I already have people that have both my BB pins on their BBM list and I have both theirs, if 2 people had 2 BB's and a Playbook that had it's own pin each person would have 3 BBM contacts for their friend, would be ridiculous!

Does this have internal storage or can an SD card be used?
I'm sure I'm missing it when it's right in front of my face.

    They don't list!

I am betting that they are waiting for the iPad 2 to be launched to make sure they can match the Storage. OR they are working with a Solid State vendor to figure out power consumption vs data storage vs data speed.

I really hope for MicroSD support, I don't care about SD cards anymore

Meh Other Countries don't have them anyway

Hopefully the tethering keeps with RIM's compression and it uses Less data.

what is nice is that it does have wifi as well.
