    Unless I am wrong, You need a data plan. If someone has a workaround, Id love to hear about it.

    being that the app world works off of the data connection you will have to have the plan to be able to access it. you can give it a swing but you will be paying per KB for the usage. I know with sprint you have to have a data plan to even use a bb.

    You can use the website version of App World on your pc and move the apps over with DM.

    But remember that there alot of apps that wont work without a data plan.
