Has anyone purchased a reconditioned/refurb Blackberry from Verizon? With my NE2 discount, the Bold would be $100 cheaper for me however, I haven't heard much of the quality of Verizon's refurb department. What can I expect?

I've heard mixed things but I just ordered a CPO LG Cosmos that was in better than new condition pretty much. A lot of the phones are WFG returns and most times people didn't use them much if at all. With the Bold being so new, you probably run into mostly new, returned models I would suspect.

I'm considering a CPO Bold 9650 from VZW. I can upgrade early and can get a pretty good deal on one from their website. Any issues with them (CPO 9650) lately?

I say go for it. It has a 30 day return and a 1 yr warranty. If you don't like it in 30 days, return it. I've seen new phones have issues too.

I bought one! I have had my refurbished Bold for just about 30 days with no problems at all. It was in perfect condition (I dropped it, small scrape on the bezel ) and worked as promised. I bought it with a just a one-year contract and it was only $119. Good Luck!

I bought one, but had to send it back because a piece of something (looked like rubber) was popping out from the bottom of the screen. The replacement they sent is perfect (have had it for about 30 days). It's a great deal.

Thanks for all the replies, VZW has sent out a "private sale" offer.. and I'm getting a brand new 9650 for the same price as CPO.
