So on my bold 9700 i used actually a couple email addresses to do a back up of my bbm contact list.
now i've got the torch, all the emails are set up and working. I go in to BBM and it won't restore the contact lists from either the emails i originally backed them up on.
is this common or has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?

Yes, it is common and Is fixed in the latest OS upgrade of .225

I don't have this problem even with Rom .135 and .141. Alll BBM contacts restored completely. Sometime if you have some setting up issues with your device all you need to do is to try later or to do a reboot..

No need to use AppWorld to get BBM. m.blackberry.com works just fine.

The download from the blackberry site is much slimmer than the app world one also, so always better to get it from the bb site.
