I will buy a 9650 if this leak works on a verizon bold 9650 efficiently. I'm ready to come back to BB I just need a Webkit browser to be waiting for me with open arms.

As a fellow Mac user I use VMware Fusion with a windows xp virtual machine. Works great for my OS updates, backups and wipes..

    Other alternatives are
Parallels (also used in the past and had trouble reconnecting during OS updates. then again i was on 4.0 and the recent is 6.0 so they might have fixed that.)

Boot Camp (for a user who trusts a ****ty OS like windows with access to their hard drive. Not the safest route. Its a Dual boot option)

The people who don't know how to install this should either learn to use Google, or not bother completely because they clearly don't understand the potential problems with installing a major leak like this.

Steve Jobs says you love windows for using a blackberry. He wills you to go to the iPhone.

Seriously, you obviously have no clue what you are talking about.

As for 6.0.0.222 on VZW Bold, seems to be running fine here.

You don't have to use DM to install the update. Just download BB Hybrid Tools, shrink the OS a little, delete vendor.xml, and then run APP loader.
    Don't use DM.

for a little more indepth instructions on how to install try this link http://forums.crackberry.com/f132/ho...eta-os-122851/

also you might want to try the bbhybrids tool by lyricidal or shrink a os to perform the installation as opposed to desktop manager. it definitely give a LOT more control over what you install.

as for the users that have the 6.0 installed on their bold... out of curiosity does it have the new browser on it? how smooth does it run?
