Hey everyone! I'm proud to bring you all BDHP v2.0 for 9700! What does BDHP stand for? Best damn hybrids, period!

    -----

This is for 9700 5.0.0.938 base.
    Includes 5.0.0.884/.938/5.2.0.9/6.0.0.212/.225 Files

Important: I recommend doing a backup and then wiping device before installing...

    1) Remove any installed OS and install 9700 5.0.0.938
    2) Download BDHP v2.0 for 9700 Installer
    3) Run installer, and verify installation path is correct
    4) Make sure to create a backup
    5) Wipe device using BBSAK or similiar tool (recommended)
    6) Run loader.exe and install
    7) After installation do a battery pull

    Changelog:
    * Added some 6.0.0.225 files
    * Upgraded compatibility with new base

    Note:
We are starting a new form of hybrid here, I am calling it a mini hybrid. Instead of downloading the hybrid in its entirety, I am only including files changed. Please do not be alarmed when you see the file size as being 2.57MB, this is indeed the full download. This results in faster download and installation speeds, which keeps everyone happy

Nope, 1.2 is for .862 base, v1.2 is to be used with 5.0.0.938 base. Download .938 and then install v2.0 to .938.

Sorry guys for another hybrid so soon. We do not have intel on leaks like Bbleaks and Driphter so we jus try to act swiftly when it goes public.

I can honestly say. This build is rock solid so far. Haven't had outrageous batt life. It idles at .8 for me on 3G

Look out for 2.1 in the near future. [Maybe 2 week] with 9650 6.0 files [maybe]. Yall will like this 1!

Loaded the hybrid on the phone. Stock .938 took 2.5mnt to boot. This hybrid took 7 mins. The lag is too bad. But I know that the hybrid needs time to settle. Will be giving a few more hours. Batt life till now is bad. I hv reset my phone thrice.

1.2 is more stable till now. Hopefully the os settles. Will come back with more feedback later.

booting time is faster compared to BDHP v1.0 after installing the OS
2nd booting is bit longer but still faster
too bad the BBM is still 5.0.0.66

did you do a full wipe and clean install? it doesn't make much sense for there to be such a huge difference. i didn't clock to be exact but it seems like this one is even faster, albeit minimally.

have been observing my 9700 for 2hours
i noticed that the signal is a bit wierd
usually in the living room, i can still get 3G most of the time using 862 and bdhp v1
however, using 938 + bdhp v2, i only gets EDGE or GPRS mostly
but when i step into my room, i get 3G where i usually get EDGE using 862
have to observe for a few days i guess

Yes I did a clean wipe and install. Don't know why but this built is just not working for me.

Sadly had to wipe again and install the stock .938. On the 1.2 all was excellent. even boot time was under 2 mins.

Waiting for the next hybrid or maybe even os 6......

None of the testers nor other people we have in the beta testing group are having problems with signal nor boot times. I can say its a bad install of os all together. Plus mostly every1 shrink their os

Radio issues are an odd problem. So many factors besides the build come into play.

I'm on T-Mobile, and my calls regularly drop from 3G to GPRS. I have no idea why. Even with the T-Mo approved 714 OS.

I've made several 3G calls today, and some stayed on 3G for the duration. There's no rhyme or reason I can detect/decipher.

I haven't had any theme issues at all...that is a new wrinkle I haven't heard of before. Can you explain what was happening?
