Just downloaded the official OS 4.5.0.52 for my BlackBerry 8320, and everything works perfect, i suggest all of you upgrade if you havn't, Here is the link!

    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...223C61B1B5AB89

This will work on T-Mobile perfectly, just delete the vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader

then just open up your BlackBerry Desktop Manager and it will automatically upgrade :-)

The official version says: BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.5.0.75 (Multilanguage) (74.385 Mb) when you follow the link. I wonder if it is newer than .52?

Are you upgrading from OS 4.2.2.180 (the last official TMo release)?? Or are you upgrading from a Beta OS?

No, it is definitely the same... and it is OS 4.5.0.52... you are looking at a different specification!!

NO, if you look at the application version it's .52. And from what I've been told, Orange fixed no bugs. But I'm glad you like it.

OK, my bad. I have .52 and love it. I just installed it two evenings ago. I haven't had one issue. I have video, html web surfing, youtube works, and I stream music. All things I couldn't do before. Now my boss wants me to update his! His chin hit the floor when he saw how cool mine was.

I hope it is a few months still... because I am fine with using the Betas, but none of them are worthy to be official releases yet!! .52 was an amazing Beta and got rid of numerous bugs. I am totally happy using .52, but it should not be an official OS from any carrier, IMO.

Also, the .6x and .7x betas will be right around the corner... then this 'official' .52 release will not even matter any more!

Can someone explain to me the benefit of upgrading to 4.5? In all the release logs I don't seem to see any new features that I haven't already got on my 4.3.x.x Curve. Mine does video recording, plays You Tube videos, etc with no problems. Am I missing something?

uh no you download a beta and run w/ it... there is no difference in the .52 beta and Orange's .52 "official"...

You are not installing an 8320 OS onto a 8310 phone are you? It won't work.

This is my work phone (on ATT). Since it's managed by our IT dept., what are the chances that I'll be able to do the OS upgrade myself? Is that something that is controlled on a network level? (I just don't want to try and find out it won't work, and then have to explain what I was doing to get them to fix my phone. They won't be happy.)
