I got a plan with rogers $40 unlimited on my bold9700 but im wondering how do i surf the internet from home and download apps using wi-fi since i dont have data on my plan, and if its possible surfing using wifi and downloading wont charge me correct? And im not sure how i can surf using wi-fi someone help me please.
well first off, goto manage connections and enable wifi. then goto setup wifi network in manage connections and scan for networks. find and open network and connect, save your profile. Next, goto browser and press menu and select options. Goto general properties and select default browser and set it to hotspot/wifi browser and save. Now, browse as you normally would. As for charges, wifi is not carrier so should be any to surf, downloading is another story
