It only launches half the time on my rooted Inc w/ 2.2. Once it plays, it is fine. It's ok, nothing special.

Go here from your phones browser and click the link for non market install. It will be a mediafire or rapidshare download of the apk. Installed just fine for me and have not had any FC's or freezing yet.

Hmmm... Wonder if it's the locked FPS? I'm running rooted stock 2.2.

Sounds like the 30 FPS lock is the problem.

eBoyDog: Try one of netarchy's kernels on xda (I recommend 4.1.9.1). Fixes the FPS lock.


nemoid: There's probably no hope for you until either..

A: The developer fixes game to allow it to run at a lower frame rate

B: You root your device and run a custom ROM/kernel that unlocks the frame rate.

this beta doesnt like the EVO very much. I read on some site the developer is working on it.. however..

it will run in it's current form.

try this.. after the launch screen and during the loading screen.. run your finger around for the duration.. circles.. figures 8's... whatever you want. just keep some chill motion. I saw that tip after a google search and it worked for me.

I run an unchanged EVO on 2.2 froyo from sprint/htc.. not rooted or anything.

As for the game.. fun

Oh I also read that if you mute the sound when you close it.. it will relaunch just fine.. however I didnt get to test this as my one seassion with the game was at work and I had something pull me from my session without trying it. I will next time I try unless someone else reports it first.
