Just purchased my 9700, a nice upgrade from my bold 9000-both on T-Mobile. I am already missing the browswer on my droid. Is there anyway to get a better browser than opera/ bolt or atleast OS 6.0's browser on my Bold 9700? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If there was a leak/release, you would have seen it stickied at the top of the forum. You'll just have to cope with the native browser or Bolt/Opera (which aren't bad browsers) for now.

The bb 9700 is fine for moderate use, if you really do that much browsing then a blackberry is not a phone for you. Go get your droid.
Funny, I put away my Archos Android based internet tablet, and stopped lugging my laptop around ready to tether it or find a WiFi hotspot once I upgraded from the 9000 to the 9700.
I find that the web browsing is AWESOME. Of course, I've followed all of the recommended settings for using the default browser (Like turning off JS, and the other tips), but I also find that Bolt Browser on the 9700 feels and performs about like FireFox on my Laptop. Especially when it comes to rendering pages.
I just turned the image quality down to not take as much bandwidth and speed it up.
Browsing on a BB is seriously frustrating once you've used a webkit based browser.
OS6 will come to the 9700 in time, we're all waiting. Some of my customers are waiting for me to call them to load a leaked version once it comes out. Patience....
