saddly the 9780 will give us 9700 owners no idea how it will run because the hardware specs are totally different. But good to know there are devices out in the wild so might be soon where we have an os6 leak for the 9700

Not so sure the hardware is "totally" different, only difference is the 5MP camera and the 512mb memory on the 9780.

Not so sure the hardware is "totally" different, only difference is the 5MP camera and the 512mb memory on the 9780.

Those two changes, new WiFi chip (Supporting N band), I think the BlueTooth Chip has been updated... And, rumor has it that the radio has been updated for the faster 3G speeds that AT&T is rolling out (NOT the LTE/4G stuff, but the faster 3G)

But, same CPU as the 9700.

Not a major difference, but the driver files for those different devices would not be cross compatible. And, to save space, the OS build would not carry drivers for both sets of devices meaning that it's not cross compatible with the 9700.

I know. Just wanted the OS to see if I can boot it on the 9700. I just got the white one and im doing all kinds of crazy **** to it to test it out. But I guess the guy above me kinda cleared it.
