I got my Torch few days ago and noticed that the ringtones are terrible if we compare with Bold 9700.. old ringtones and message notificators and not included and the volume is too low... anybody knows how to fix it??

yea the 161 leak helps...has a stronger vol but sounds distorted if turned up to much...

have u ever been use 9700 bold? maybe 10 times better then torch..

The Blackberry mobile website has additional ringtones that you can download. I'm using a few. Coming from a Bold 9000, the speaker's definitely not as loud, but it's ok.

I make my own out of mp3's so it is not an issue for me.

i make my own ringtones as well..
using itunes
and coming from a bold 9000.. the Torch is not that loud but still acceptable.
remember the 9000 has the best speakers to date

My default ring tone is Extreme Ways by Moby. The start of that song will really get your attention.

Agreed, I usually upload my own anyway. That's why we have backups, right?
