Man that sucks. The Droid 2 JUST came out. And it is already ending. That was a good 2 month run that they are planning, lol. On a side note, I pretty much hate every phone Motorola ever made.
the op is just showing a document that shows the EOL date of the storm 2 along with many other phones, it just happens to be posted in a droid forum, idk what people are getting mad this is posted, and the droid is EOL in 2011 not 2010 so its not 2 months
Those EOL listings are also specific on the OS the phone is running. So just because the Storm 2 with OS5 has an Oct 2010 or the Droid X with Android 2.1 has a Mar 2011 EOL, I don't think oit necessairly means the entire hardware.
"What if" there is a Storm 2 with OS6? I know the Droid X is getting 2.2. So I don't think those would be part of the EOL phones if both phones have the updated OS's. Just my .02 worth.
Why would an EOL listing make note of the OS? For instance, the Droid X 3/31/11 EOL says running 2.1. Supposedly in early September all X's will be running 2.2. Just curious.
as long as refurbs are available then you will most likely get a refurb from the warehouse. you will probably have to bargain to get a new model (is droid 2, storm 3 etc)
