Does anyone know if Sirius XM works on the Torch? I get a service unavaliable error. One of the main reasons I bought the phone was to use Sirius.

i don't think there's an app specific for the Sirius.. if that's what you're looking for.
BUT if you go using the web browser.. to Sirius.com and listen online.. there's no problem..
and that's what i'm doing.

yup! what OS 6 version do you have?
i have the orginal/ out of the box version..
i haven't upgraded it yet..
i don't have any encryption ON as well.
firewall is also set to factory setting.

the reasons why these settings are important is that..
my Company issued Blackberry ( not the Torch) has a lot of restrictions..
like facebook, myspace, youtube and of course every Porn site that you can think of.

I launch the online player from the BB and get it working but never hear music.

The XM version of the Sirius XM app isn't working for the Torch yet. I've tried both the Bold and Storm versions. Looking at the Sirius website, it appears that the application is identical for both halves of the platform.

I would just keep checking the Sirius store for the app on a regular basis to see when an option for the Torch is added. I'd be surprised if they don't add the Torch. They already support the Curve 8500 & 8900, Bold 9000 & 9700, Storm, Storm 2 and Tour. So, it seems as if they've been keeping up.

You probably should contact Sirius and let them know your frustration. I have a fealing that they will provide something once the Torch 2 hits the streets. I know it is something I have been looking for as well.
