Hi - hoping someone can help me, I recently purchased a new STORM2 / 9520 (from ebay) and its been fine for a month or two but recently whenever I hit the right convenience button to activate the camera it reboots. It happens fairly quickly the screen goes white, there's a number of lines of very small text on the screen and all I get to see is the word RESET in the middle of the screen. And then it reboots. Its done this about 6 times now, everything else is fine. I'm running the following code:
v5.0.0.497 (Platform 4.2.0.220)
Which I believe is the latest for this, well Desktop Manager doesn't prompt me to update anything. Only other thing I've done is a battery pull, but that's not made any difference at all - has anyone else had this problem or able to suggest what the problem might be?

Like rubberduckie said, try installing a newer OS. I remember having a similar problem with the video camera on one of the earlier 9550 OS's.
The latest OS for the 9520 is, like the 9550, .713. Check the Official Storm 2 OS Thread for details and download links.
I have .713 on my Storm 2 and have been having the same problem. At one point it was in a never ending reboot loop. But, I followed the directions to re-install the O/S from scratch and the loop stopped, but now this....
Thankyou all, forgot to say the phone is a UK Vodafone one that I've had unlocked. So installed the .713 version from the Spanish download - installed without issue in about 30mins. Not noticed anything different so far but only time will tell.

I'm using a 9520 model. Get the .741, I've had zero issues with it. All the best!
Hi - do you have the link for the .741 download please? As mine has just done the same again today, resets after hitting the right convenience key for the camera - so the problem is still here after bumping to .497.
