Just need to know if there is a way to setup an email accout that will notify you when you get mail not like having to go to yahoo thru the browser. This is for an 8350i nextel by the way
I use gmail on the 8350i and it has been great, I hear some complaints sometimes but it works flawlessly for me.
Some will say it only notifies you every 20mins of new messages in your account, but this is not true, I am always notified instantly when a email is received. One thing to note though, it won't notify you through your notifications bar, so if you have to keep it on vibe or silent all the time, you will have to keep the app on the front page(the app shows a star on it when it receives a email). You can also set a specialized ring tone for the email alert sound notifying you that you just recieved a new email. You do this under the advanced profile settings.
