Hi there, new to the forums.

Looking for the best spam block app in your opinion. A manual filter will not work for what I am looking for.

Antair is the only one that I can find that actually filters out spam on its own but it doesn't look too user friendly for someone who isn't blackberry literate.

someone else asked about this awhile back. You can use gmail and forward your email to that to create a free spam blocker, I use it, works well. Search the forums and you will find out how to set it up.

I use MailMinder. It is great for junk mail filtering...it is not a true "spam" filter but you can set lots of rules on the senders and subjects relating to regular junk mail and it deletes all those emails. I have been very happy with it!

+1 for gmail. I get like 400 spam a month in the spam folder (aka, not on the BlackBerry) and maybe 1 or 2 in the inbox.

I'm with SCrid. Stay away from Yahoo! I forward that to my gmail and it gets rid of a lot more spam. Not perfect but pretty good.
