So I got my phone... Actaully got it for 150 somehow bc of our fan account. The only thing I'm missing is Pandora. And for some reason also some of my recently added contacts never made it to the server (BES) so I'm stuck trying to input them manually from my 9700.

I personally used Slacker. I saw that Slacker was preloaded on a demo unit the other day.

I thought they said most or mainstream apps would work on the 9800/OS6?

    Good deal on the $150.00!

The 9800 doesn't support Pandora yet, which sucks because that's all I use.
Slacker doesn't help me one bit.

Why wouldn't RIM ensure Pandora compatability before releasing its flagship multi-media phone? Inexcusable if this is true.

Haha, people find the stupidest reasons to blame RIM for anything ... It has nothing to do with RIM... It up to Pandora to make the app for the 9800.

I am almost positive its in the works... Just be patient, its coming.

FALSE, RIM obviously worked with Facebook to make sure it's app and interface worked well on launch date. Are you suggested they couldn't have done the same with Pandora? Get real. Also, many many people use Pandora on a daily basis. If RIM wants people, even current BB users currently enjoying one of the most popular apps, then they should've made it work on day one instead of leaving it to people like you to make promises it's coming soon.

Funny how people find things to b*tch about. Surely this is in the works.

Never fails that you get people that find something to whine about.

    Say whaaaa?!

Wow....I've been using Grooveshark on my computer and absolutely love it. They recently released a BB app for it - but you have to pay for it. I was like 'Eff that'. I thought for sure there would be an app that does the same thing for free.

    Thanks for that!

Pandora is a big deal to alot of people and it would definitely screw up my workouts. Another example of RIM being either arrogant or incompetent or both.

Also many people also have their Pandora accounts on their phones linked to their Blu Ray or DVD players for streaming home use. Then again, the handful of BB faithful around here probably have no idea how to do that. "Why would anyone want to stream an endless supply of free HQ music thru their sound system? I have FM radio for that".

    Again, blame pandora...

Also, technically its not endless supply of music unless you have pandora one, which I bet most people don't even have (I do).

No blame RIM for not working it out ahead of time.

Also, I have free Pandora and its endless. I do get 10 second commercials every 3 or 4 songs.

You must be special and/or not go past 40 hours a month and just assume its endless or maybe you have multiple accounts.

    And no, blame pandora.
