when i try to update my unlock bold 9000 to .822 i get this message "This BlackBerry� Device Software upgrade includes new features and significant enhancements to the BlackBerry� solution and, as such, is only available to users with an active BlackBerry subscription. To learn more about BlackBerry� service, please visit www.blackberry.com/service" . im using it on a gsm network digicel in jamaica i also get this message " The blackberry desktop software does not have blackberry device soft ware for the device u have connected to the computer , contact ur wireless service provider or ur administartor" my dm is 6

i get the same error and i upgrade bb's quite often its the first i am seeing this error.... i just got 2 8900's to give as gifts and this error keeps popping up
I had gotten the same error. I unlocked my att bold 9000 to work on tmobile, & the att os upgrade .822 would give me that error. I'm not exactly sure why but the hutchinson .822 didn't give me any error.
So download hutchinsons .822, that one should work.
