Just saw that BBM is updated on appworld. The version number is 5.0.1.38. The OTA download still shows the old version but you can grab the new one in appworld.

Edit: Found the OTA. Go to BlackBerry Messenger from your phones browser and click the download now link.

Looks the same as .32 to me. I cant see any major changes at the moment. The biggest one is it doesnt need a keycode

Use BBM OTA
for an OTA...so you don't DL the language packs...the appworld version is 7.8 MB!

I've been having a good deal of problems with .57 not sending messages all of the way through. I get the check mark, but not the D for delivered. The person receiving my messages doesn't get them delivered for some time. They will randomly decide to go through. It happens on both ends of multiple conversations. I'm thinkin they are getting hung up in the server, but I hope this update changes things a little for me.

If you can't use the web browser with your plan, doesn't that also mean that you can't use BBM?

I've been running the beta bbm 32 and the new official bbm is by far way better now. They group keypad is fix, avatar in group, s/n in group, is now fixed. BBM 38 is just like the beta version.

copy option in group is not fix.

still doesnt fix the problem of deleting msg of added SMS contacts to the bbm list.

if you add a sms person to your bbm list... have a comvo.. and go into your message inbox and delete the convo... the convo will still show up on bbm but empty.

if you have this same convo and delete the msg in bbm... the msg is also deleted out your message inbox

no i got the social plan from telus. which means i can get unlimited social networking like facebook and twitter and BBM. But no app world or browser. Can i get the update through the desktop manager?

it still appears the BBM Group Icon (the one of a dozen), still dont work right. i have 3 diff groups and they all show the same icon in the notification area even though they are assigned different icons. anyone else?

Guys, after updating my bbm.. I lost all my contacts.. I try to restore but every time I reboot my bb, I lost my contacts again.. And now I can't read bbm messages.. Help please!!!

It appears all the links are down for me as well. Appworld doesn't offer BBM (older version) for DL'd because it is already installed on my phone
