This hybrid looks pretty stable and has a decent battery life.

It has the following COD's:

5.0.0.810
5.0.0.857
5.0.0.862
6.0.0.31
6.0.0.135
6.0.0.141

1. Be sure to have a fresh and clean 5.0.0.810 OS on computer.
2. Allow this installer to run its course. Make sure the installation Folder is

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9650AMEA_v5.0.0.810_P4.2.0.363 if you have a 32bit Windows or C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9650AMEA_v5.0.0.810_P4.2.0.363 if you have a 64bit Windows.

3. Shrink A OS will automatically launch upon exiting.
4. Shrink out what you don't want or simply launch loader.

Backup, Wipe, install, Restore your Backup.

Will show .862 in the Options-->About screen

I was running your hybrid now Im trying to download this one.I have tired on three different computers and keep getting the same error. It will not install because two files that are needed is missing. I'm wondering if it is something I'm doing wrong.

1. Install the official release of 5.0.0.810 on your PC.
2. Install this hybrid, as soon as you hit finish, you will be prompted with BBHybridsTool.
Shrink whatever you don't want to be on your phone.
3. If you don't know how to use BBHybridsTool or simply don't want to use it, just close it.
4. Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader and delete the file vendors.xml
5. in the same folder click the file Loader.exe
6. hook up your BB9650 and follow the instruction.

Im one of the unlucky VZW people who hears chirping during phone calls. What radio files are you using in this hybrid?

I have tried a straight .810 and straight .732 but neither of those work for me. Are the radio files in this hybrid any different from those?

This hybrid has been tested with the .810 radio. I have not tried to run it with either .732 or .699. I am currently at work. If I get some time I will try to get a .699 working version out of it.

IMO. This hybrid beats the old one a little in speed but battery life is about the same.
