So @bbleaks and @salomondrin are supposed to drop the 9650 leak today around 5pm EST!

Who's gonna upgrade immediately and who's going to wait for some brave souls to install and figure out what's wrong first?

Personally I'm going to download it asap but might wait a few hours to see what bugs or issues pop up.

    How bout you guys?

I'm so excited for you #9650 users! I hope you like it!

We #9700 owners would really appreciate pics, but most importantly videos of #BB6 working on a non-touch device!

Rumor is the size should be around 170-180MB??

I wonder if it's a "lite" version because the features are stripped down compared to touchscreen devices, or if it's "lite" simply taking out all the touchscreen coding.

Thank you all up front! #BB6iscoming!

I'm moving up to the 9800, but I'm definitely at least clinically interested in seeing the WebKit browser run on a non-touch.

it won't "hurt" your phone unless you don't know what you're doing.

Nope. Radios are different - CDMA v. GSM

No, it won't be usable for the 9700. Even more than cdma vs gsm, the two phones take different radio files simply because they're different phones.
No, it won't hurt your phone.
I'll be downloading it as soon as it's available, and installing it as soon as it finishes downloading.

Sal hasn't mentioned anything. I'd keep my eyes open though, I wouldn't be surprised if it's going to hit soon. I know it's been seen in the wild, which means the testing is taking place, which means the possibility of a leak is there.

What possible reason could there be for 9650 getting the hook-up but not us 9700 users? The 256/512 memory argument is moot... RIM already said so.

The OS beta's are already out there... we just need them to be given to usssssssssssssssssssssssssss

It *will* be moot but it is not yet. The 9700 OS is further behind than the 9650 OS for one reason... Memory. During early installs of OS6 on a 9700, it basically turned the speedy 9700 (on OS5) into a Storm1 on launch day... Remember that?

In any event, there have been videos posted of Webkit on a non-touch device as well as on a touch device.

haha twitter is hosed, wonder if it could be related to the leak? any confirmed sightings?

search.twitter doesn't pull nething but this:

    OS 6.0.0.80 - Twitter Search

    bbleaks - Twitter Search

BBLeaks says that the source is berrycn.com not seeing anything on their site either

Well ... yesterday was a big fail by both bbleaks, salomondrin and whoever else thinks they're all that for submitting pics instead of leaks.

I don't want to sound ungrateful but I'm disappointed. I want a leak not a picture. It obviously works now, where is the leak?

I think we're all a little disappointed, but really, does it matter? Anyhow, screenshots don't mean the OS is bug-free and ready to throw on your bold. For all we know, it could have taken 5 minutes to navigate between those screens on the bold with 6. Pics mean nothing.
