I can't uninstall Desktop Manager (5.0 or 6.0) and I'm not able to uninstall the device software either I am repeatedly getting the 2738 error but nothing I've found on here or elsewhere is solving it. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and I've currently tried unregistering the dll vbscript.dll and re-registering it (in both system32 and syswow64) and it's still doing it.
Has anyone ever found a solution for this? The solutions proposed in other forums and other web sites have not worked for me, as the registry key that is being mentioned doesn't exist on my PC.
I'm on a Dell Studio 1735 running Vista SP2 and Norton Internet Security (if that makes a difference, but I've tried disabling that before uninstalling and same error).
