Did I see that right? If so that sux. There are a lot of times I want to see the full version of websites not the web version.

Maybe I am just stupid and didn't understand what I saw or how it works, but on my 9000 I can change the browser identification to say Firefox and get the full web page to load.

The new webkit browser loads full webpages at the speed the current browser loads mobile pages. Probably faster.

When I go to yahoo.com, it loads the full site. When i try a site like ufc.com it loads the mobile site. I cannot find the browser identification setting as well.

This is being labeled a feature by RIM - automatic browser ID but it has its issues. For example, the Wells Fargo mobile site won't take to download their banking app cause it doesn't see a mobile phone.
