I don't know about you guys but I'm very happy with OS 5 and I think it will be a game time decision when OS 6 comes out. Just wondering what everyones thoughts are!

Browser alone makes the upgrade worth it but it will probably take Verizon a year to approve anyway.

I'll definitely upgrade to 6 whenever it is released. Looks pretty slick.

I'm happy with my OS 5. My browser is fast enough for my needs and I do switch between the BB browser and Bolt. Will have to wait and see how some others will like it once d/l to their 9650's. Time will tell.

Why not installing OS6 and try it for a couple of days. If you feel that you don't like, you can go back to OS5.

I'll upgrade if the reviews are good (which I have no doubt they will). OS 5 looks a decade old.

Happy with .810 with battery life and stability. But yes I am looking forward to what RIM has to bring to the table!

I'm more than likely gonna stick with 5 as long as I can. And the fact that 6 is gonna dig more into the available app memory kinda bothers me. I'm happy with 5, so to me if it ain't broke why fix it??

I just hope all of the money I have spent on various apps within the last year wont all go down the drain when OS 6 comes out. I hope it has backward compatability for OS 5 apps so that I can still use at least some of my apps.

I think it was confirmed by Kevin today that OS 6 has full backward compatibility .

Very happy with my 9650 and OS5. I'll follow OS6 closely upon release but I'm not anxiously awaiting it. I use my phone for calls, easy texting and emails, and a few organizational & financial apps. I like that it's fast and zippy too. I love the simplicity of the Blackberry UI so I hope they don't mess with it too much.

My other fear is that OS6 will eat up alot of the system resources and bog the phone's performance down.

My only concern with OS6 is that it was really designed around the use of a touchscreen device. I will definitely upgrade when it comes out and see what navigation is like. For example there are plenty of themes that are offered for both Storms and touchpad devices however the navigation is way too sensitive and jumps all over the place when using a trackpad/trackball. I am worried that with all the options available on any given screen it will be much more difficult to get where you need to go quickly because of having to scroll through every tab and icon. Of course I have never used OS6 so this is purely a guess.

I'm especially happy with os5 now that I have .810 installed. I'm not in any hurry to lose my app functionality with 6, and I understand that devs will be making upgrades, but I may sit on the side awhile and see how the reviews are anyway. There are always bugs. My bold is currently as solid as can be. So no rush, but by the time it releases I could be more ready, who knows when release day will be.

I'm in no hurry to upgrade but probably will after all the furor settles down. Also, it depends on how long it will take VZW to release OS6.

No I don't have to think about it. It will go on the phone as soon as I get my grubby hands on it! This blackberry feels so dated. Maybe 6 will hold me over till I can upgrade.
