Anybody that is using mail connector receiving a message that a new version is available? - if so, are you able to install the update? Mine fails every time with the following error message.

"There was an error installing the update. The error returned was
0x8007007E"


Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am getting this exact same error and I have not been able to find a solution on rim/t mobile/forums.

I was able to update this AM to client# 7.904.1609.0 which has a date of 09/04/07 by doing the following:

Downloaded a MSXML service pack from Microsoft. The version of MSXML that I'm running now is MSXML 4.0 SP2

Seems to have resolved the issue.
