Is there any improvement on blackberry maps, maybe navigation like google maps navigation? I find strange that with all this news on BB6 no news on an updated maps has been released.

RIM purchased the GPS company called DASH a while ago, so they could be working on something.

Most likely it will be a cross between the closed-beta Traffic App and the current Maps app, which would be awesome.

Really hoping for an update in the maps as well. The maps are one of the very few things I am disappointed with my 9700. Looks and feels like a GPS app from 2001

This is something that I was wondering also. I mean with the like of Google, Ovi, and now Bing (on Microsoft) having free turn-by-turn I hope Rim has some sort of answer for this. But if not I will just keep my telenav but it would be nice for a free gps turn-by-turn on the new devices
