My mom wanted to try a smartphone so i was gonna let her use my old storm 1 (she isn't gonna mess up my storm 2 lol) i started to charge it i had a bettery symbol with a bolt going through it. i had to leave for work so i'm charging it via usb only the red light is coming on that's been since 2:00 and still only the red light comes on for a while and goes off. no power to the phone.... what to do..

oh if it matters my storm 1 has been sitting in a draw since i got my storm 2 when it first came out...

Unplug the phone. Pull the battery and try again!

Unplug the phone, remove the battery, plug it into a wall charger, wait for it to start and then put the battery back in.
