've been trying to find the answer to this with no luck. Is there a way to enter the pound key during a phone call? I have a Curve 8310 OS 4.5 (good ol ATT) for exampe when I call my banks automated line, it asks for my acct # followed by the # key. If I press alt and #, it gives me the q. No matter what I try can't access it. Thanks in advance.

Just press the # key without the ALT key.

To expand on Motorcycle Mama's answer, when you are in phone mode, you don't need to press ALT to dial either * or #. Nor do you need to press ALT to turn on the SPKR function.

Thank you guys so much! Now I know why I live on this site! I really thought I tried that too and didn't work but just called bank and was perfect. I feel kinda like an ***** not realizing this but love you guys for not making me feel like one! Now any ideas on how to make my bank balance be higher...
