So I'm setting up my coworkers blackberry with our BES (we're a 7-person firm, so I've been "appointed" IT guy to save us the hundreds calling one would cost, oh joy). I removed her and added her on the BES server after doing a full wipe of her phone, and it syncs everything up fine. Once that's done, she gets her work email.
Her problem is that she insists on having the Gmail App on her Blackberry, and after she installs that, her work email no longer syncs, nor do her work calendars or contacts. I can't figure out why this is. Is it something that the Gmail app just does always, or is there something I'm missing? My only solution I've been able to find each time is to wipe and start over, but she insists she needs the Gmail App. Suggestions? Really appreciated!
i too am looking for an answer! my work around was to just set her email on via the blackberry email setup app, seeing we use lotus notes for email and calendar.
