well it is a fact that the boot loader is locked. the e-fuse thing is probably true.

Motorola Released a statement saying that if you want to hack your phone other than what motorola has made it for, to buy another device.

sad.

Their saying it won't brick the DroidX but you still can't install custom ROM's due to the eFuse disabling the bootloader.

It will be like the milestone, it will get hacked, but it won't be easy or cheap. That may be were people just pass it up. I wouldn't want to brick 20 devices trying to super use permissions. Still a great "out of the box device"

never mind, seems IRC has sbf and need bootloader testers (I guess it is being hacked and getting it up the yeah) Reliable root in two weeks IMO.

If it does get hacked, it will be great. I can care less that the Galaxy S has a faster GPU because I don't do gaming on my phone, I watch some videos and thats about it. But if it doesn't get hacked, I will be sad, but at least I will have my upgrade for something else if I return it.
