I'm not able to download it, everytime I try to access the website (from my Curve or my computer), I get a "500 : Internal Server Error"...

I love gtalk and I don't want to pay for Jivetalk (yes, I heard about free IM apps such as Palringo or Instango but I don't like them). Is there any other way to get the app ?

Worked for me... looks cleaner... other than that it is pretty much the same. No major changes.

I installed it and now have no internet access. Google Talk will not log in and my browser is just "Requesting" full time. This is lovely!

I was having the same problem as Miller7796, but after a few minutes it seems to have worked itself out.

I had to change the permissions after my first attempt at logging in. I already set it to "allow" before the installation ran but it apparently didn't carry though.

Can you explain me how you get gtalk, because I have an internal error 500 on my pc and it's impossible from my curve ? If you have a solution, I'm very interrested.

I saw that one of the upgrades is the ability to "group messages in chat." What exactly is that? I read it as "ability to group chat" meaning conference chat or whatever, but that is not the case. So what is "grouping messages in a chat?"

I have the same issue on my phone on tmobile service. Old version of google talk use to work fine!!! I uninstalled it to install this one and now it wont go online and messes up all other data intensive apps.

Is there a way to download the older version of google talk?

So i just downloaded the gtalk on my blackberry pearl 8100. I know its there but I can find it on my menu. When I go to app its there but I dont know how to do to launch it...
help?!


oh and yeah I had a much easier time with the old version of the gtalk too...
