7X is the result of my first attempt to create a theme with mini icons. I decided to venture away from the typical icon layout and try something completely outside my comfort level after using some of Foppa's great themes. Most recently Foppa16 and Foppa18.

While my work is obviously not in the same league, I hope you enjoy it just as much. Thanks for the inspiration, Foppa!!

There are 3 different versions to choose from based on your battery indicator preferences. I personally prefer version 2.

All versions are compatible with OS 5.0 only, have hidden today (buttons 3-7) and spacebar as shortcut for QuickLaunch or ShortcutMe.


Each version has its own file name so you can have more than one version installed on your device at a time.


All versions have the following buttons on them:

• Signal = Manage Connections
• Time = Clock
• Date = Calendar
• Location (+) ))) = Options

The wifi and location icons are switched on latest version. I just didn't update screen shots.


Navigation is the same on all 3 versions as well:

• Button 8 <-> Manage Connections
• Button 8 -Down- Options
• Manage Connections <-> Clock
• Clock -Down- Calendar
• Calendar <-> Options
• Options -Up- Button 8

Version 1 (7X) Details:

• The main screen battery indicator is much like the stock image with % on it under the signal strength indicator

• The weather slot is the first app

Version 2 (7X2) Details:

• No battery indicator on the main screen. You can use MeterBerry or BatteryEx in the 8th slot or have BatteryEx show in the notifications

• Everything else is the same as version 1

Version 3 (7X3) Details:

• No battery indicator on the main screen. Added a button to the upper right that you can put MeterBerry or BatteryEx in the 9th slot if you want a bigger icon

• Navigation is same as others, but to get to upper right either scroll up from time or left from weather slot

• Everything else is the same as version 1

It might be good to have different file names for the different versions. That way, people could have more than one version installed on their phone. It would be nice to have the weather slot appear on the lock screen.

Also, I noticed on your blog that you have a Penn State theme and are working on USC and Michigan. Have you considered working on a Notre Dame theme? :-). GO IRISH!

Ahhhhh!!! The date goes to options????!!?? I'd love it if it was

Working on some navigational and button changes as requested to make date open calendar and location icon open options. I will apply to all versions.

Also going to give each their own name so more than 1 can be installed at a time. Probably 7X, 7X2 and 7X3.

As for requests for to have non-today and no weather slot, I really don't want to do this for all 3 versions, so if I could get some feedback as to what version is preferred, I will see what I can do.

I have updated all themes to address navigation and button changes noted above. I have also given each version its own file name.

Please refer to initial post for all the details.

As for making non-today and no weather slot versions, I will wait until Friday July 23rd to see what input I get for preferences.

I think version 1 would work best without a weather slot. It. Would show off the wallpaper best, and I like the battery meter on that one too
