    Hello.

    I downloaded and installed the latest desktop manager software (4.2.2.10) for the wife's 8830. Prior to installation, I uninstalled the previous version when I was running into connection and sync problems. The new version installed fine, and connects to the 8830. However, when I try to configure syncing, the cpu spikes to 100%, and the Desktop Manager software stops responding. She's using Office and Outlook 2007. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Sounds like a software issue to me... I would suggest uninstalling/reinstalling to start with. If the problem keeps happening try it on a different computer and see if the problem continues to occur. If it doesn't then you know that the issue is probably a conflict of sorts on the wife's computer.
