Internet service just went caput all of a sudden, tried battery pull multiple time, connection profile won't update, had them resend svc books and no luck. any ideas?? help!!!

This is a carrier issue then. You need to call them an see if they are having a tower issue in your area.

Just to share - one of the World Cup apps, "WC2010" screwed up my BIS connection and I had the same issue. I am using a Verizon Tour on the Singapore 3G network.
