Fist of all, welcome to CrackBerry!

... and try updating your phone, if you don't like some new features, you can always downgrade.

Better Battery life, smaller mem footprint, better native browser, less hourglass, threaded sms... i could go on. Like Nike says - Just do it!

Most of the themes created now are for 5.0, so it will require you to update. The benefits is the speed mentioned. O I hated the hour glass ;p

One new feature is probably the locking feature, you will hate it the most if you have not noticed. Also you can't remove the BBM directly.

Updating is free. You can download the latest OS from CrackBerry, your official provider's website, or official BlackBerry website. After downloading the latest OS on your computer, you can install it on your phone using Desktop Manager. You can also use your phone itself, just go to Options > Advanced Options > Wireless Update.

Yup, that's the first thing I noticed - have to unlock using the "mute" button - I didn't even know I had a "mute" button - oh well, just another way to do the same thing.

I actually like the newer way - fewer buttons to push.....;-)

You're like the first person that likes the "mute button way" of unlocking the phone. xD xD

I personally don't, I like the older way, but I've been using .654 for about a month and a half now, and I'm used to it.
