    File size is HUGE!

Hopefully, it's better than the .722. That was a horrible version.

Reason it is huge is because it has ALL languages lol... IDK why but i think it will be downgraded to a smaller package if you install it and get rid of unwanted languages...

Going to load it once I get off work, but I would assume it does because that is a standard feature in the OS now, even my blackberry rep said so lol... If you want the old way you will have to go back to 5.0.0.2xx series...

    or v5.0.0.459 (from Sprint)

...and I really like that unlock feature rather than the mute button way.

To all the guinea pigs that are gonna try this out - please test the following:

    Voice Recorder
    Camera
    Video Camera

and be cognisent of the reception and any notification delays.

These were all big issues with .722 and what led me and others to head back to .654.

    Thanks!

The Voice Recorder, Camera, and Video Camera work. I'll check and see if my reception improves for a few days. So far, the bars look good.

    Okay, just downloaded the update.

Reception seems pretty good- full five bars with nice call quality. There seems to be none of that pesky .772 sound problem...yet.

Haven't really noted any notification delay, but I will post back if I come across one. UPDATE: I just had my friend text me and it came through immediately- so as far as I know [fingers crossed] there are no delays.

Camera seems to be working well- in fact, it seems better than it was previously. I was getting a lot of glare in sunlight photos with .508, but now photos seem crisper with more vivid color.

Video is also clear, crisp and sharp. I can't report how this might be different from .508 or .654 as I am not really a video user.

Voice recorder seems to be in fine working order- again, this isn't really a feature I use so I can't report any change.

Also- this update didn't screw up my calendar times like the other ones have in the past, and all my apps appear to have come through unscathed. And oh yeah, the browser is FLYING!

Overall I am pleased, although perplexed. I am not really certain what the "updates" contained in this updated OS are. Anyone else out there using it?

Feel free to ask questions and I will answer them to the best of my ability!

Did you remove the .654 update from your computer before trying to install this one?

I thought that when i install the new update, this .734, it would overwrite the old version. How do i do it xD

Ok...to I upgraded to .722 then downgraded to .654 the other day. But now that .734 is out I gotta try it.

Is there another way to upgrade without having to reset up all my apps and themes? Some apps don't carry over either... I have to use BBSAK to install the missing apps.

I want to try this one but getting sick of redoing my phone everytime.

    Any ideas?

I have done that. I've uninstalled all previous versions. I then double clicked this exe, and installed it.

I deleted the Vendor file aftr that and clicked Loader after having my blackberry plugged in.

Went through all the menues (funny that the update menu with the list of applications, I didn't see any of the core applications like Blackberry *here, just the extra applications like facebook, etc). I updated and when i went to check the version in About, it is still .654.

I have updated plenty of times before; this is the first time this has happened to me.

My wired headset is fully functional with no cracking and good sound. This was another feature that didn't work for me with .722 so I am pleased to see this operating well.

The audio problem that was present in .722 [connecting on calls and having no sound] has not popped up...as of yet. On my phone the .722 audio problem didn't show up for about 12ish hours or so after I installed. I have had .734 installed for about 20 hours or so now and everything appears to be fully functional. While writing this I took a call and audio was crisp and clear.

I know disgruntled has been using the ".724", but mine says .734. Am I crazy?

Also, while in certain screens (ex: Help Me), when I click the BB button, the top item in the menu says "CDMA Radio". There are two more options after choosing that - "CDMA & GPS Engineering Info", and "EVDO Engineering Info". When I go into that, it brings up a crapload of info. Was that there before?
