Yo,

When I press ALT+SHIFT+H I get the help screen. I need to access the engineering screen to activate UMA on my unlocked handset.

Can anyone help me out with getting an unlock code to access this screen?

How long you want Engeneering to keep showing till you need a new code.

Ah ok. Makes sense. I'll have to try it when I have access to a computer, only got my BB for internet at the moment and that's not gonna work! Will possibly try it tomorrow.

There is an app you can run on your BB to generate the Engineering screen unlock code. Be careful as you can permanently brick your BB with some of the options on these screens. Google for a program called "Jester" and install it OTA.

Cheers mate I'll have a look! Yeah I've heard you can brick your phone but I have some instructions to follow to unlock engineering screen and then enable UMA so fingers crossed there'll be no mishaps!

Ok it's asking me to note down the bundle number, is the the number in brackets after the app numbers? Also, on the Help Me screen, I click switch application to get to Jester app, but it won't let me, even though it's there as an option to switch to. Any ideas?

What is UMA, and did you ever get it to work? Can you make VOIP calls over WIFI now?
